Common Goal Systems, a private company founded in 2001, develops and markets Internet services to the educational market. TeacherEase, our first product, came on-line for the 2001-02 school year. The company has been profitable since 2004. SchoolInsight was released in 2006. Our services are currently in use by over schools, teachers, and parents/students. Our goals are to: Improve Teachers' Quality of Life Teachers should do less clerical work, freeing time to be more effective in the classroom, and spend a little less time working over the weekend. Increase Student Learning Today's students need education to become the productive citizens of tomorrow. Inform and Involve Parents Parents can be a great asset if properly involved. Informing parents allows them to positively contribute to their children's education. Help Schools Function Better Schools should have high-tech information infrastructure to function efficiently. Staff should have the right tools to efficiently collect, report, and manage information. Provide High-Quality Products at a Fair Price The company should modestly profit while delivering value to its customers. A healthy company can continue to serve customers while constantly improving its products. These are common goals that all stakeholders can share: the company, administration, teachers, parents, students, etc. We named the company "Common Goal Systems, Inc" to remind ourselves daily of these goals.
