Common Ground Gold Coast

Common Ground Gold Coast (CGGC) has been established through the support of Common Ground Queensland (CGQ). CGGC is a subsidiary organisation of CGQ, with the express aim of establishing a Common Ground housing project right here on the Gold Coast to address homelessness effectively. The Common Ground model is underpinned by supportive housing principles – bringing housing, support services, and the community together in one central environment. Ideally it is located near public transport routes and job opportunities, as the long-term aim of the initiative is to support vulnerable people in getting their life back on track. The model is considered one of a suite of housing solutions required in order to address chronic homelessness here on the Gold Coast.
