Common Sense For Oregon was founded with a mission to serve the people of Oregon by making it a better place to raise a family. By protecting Oregon’s 100 year old Initiative System and Referendum Process, Common Sense For Oregon is an advocate for the voice of the people. Writing and supporting ballot measures allows Common Sense to be on the front lines of the battle for Oregon’s future. Common Sense represents Oregon’s interest in increasing open government through stronger government transparency and fighting wasteful government spending with spending reform. Common Sense works to expose government waste. We also work to support the economic liberties of the people by pressing for simple and clear government regulation but only where it is needed. We also press for a simple, clear, and balanced tax system, which is fair to all concerned.
