Our vision is an America in which all people have equitable opportunities to achieve their best possible health. We believe that health is a production of society. In addition to genetics, our health outcomes are determined by the contexts within which we live our lives and make personal behavioral choices. To create equitable opportunities for health, we must address the policies, systems, and institutions that create the contexts within which people live their lives and make their decisions.
