Comms and Code was founded in 2020 by Gioconda Beekman and Chris Guy and offers strategic communications and web development services. As an independent senior communications consultant, Gioconda (known as G), works with business and communications leaders to develop strategic communications programmes focused on building and protecting company reputation. She combines strategic thinking and practical ‘hands-on’ expertise to help shape and create integrated communications that deliver value and support business needs. Chris is focused on software and application development projects, working predominantly with open source technologies, specifically Python, Django and Wagtail. He brings a high level of digital expertise, which enables him to focus on software development and problem solving whilst having a good understanding of wider commercial considerations. Every business has unique and different requirements and most of our clients do not require both services. G and Chris work independently but offer the flexibility to bring different skills to the conversation when projects may benefit from a different perspective.
