Communicating Things

Communicating Things is an online community for crowdsourced technology & apps that focuses on enhancing existing products with technology rather than new inventions. Anyone can post, discuss and vote for an idea on how to make a product interactive by adding technology to it. The site forwards the idea to industry leading manufacturers/ brands and later releases a free API in order to get the crowd to contribute to the functionality of the product. The person with the initial idea is rewarded and the community is financially beneficial for both contributors, developers and manufacturers, which means that all parties will have a shared interest in making the platform a success.
