OVER VIEW: As part of the initiative/dream, the Community Action for Rural Education Development (CARED-SL) was formed by youths on the 16 th, August, 2017. And it is a community based organization (CBO) and Non-profit community based organization with a civil society outfit that deals with contemporary problems affecting community development. CARED-SL is an organization who works with local communities to improve the quality of life of youths, Women, children, disables and other vulnerable groups through grass root participation and sustainable use and management of resources. The organization also believes in team works in the Action for Quality Educational Services at all levels all around the globe (the world). Who we are? The Community Action For Rural Educational Development (CARED-SL) is expected to gives communities that are vulnerable the opportunity to take charge of their future through sharing information about education, training and the provision of appropriate tools and skills to sustain children, women, disables and the communities to wards self-sufficiency, holoistic, and productive balance lives. CARED-SL will be inspired to support the vulnerable and underprivileged people in the communities through the locals, who are neighbours, friends and part of the communities. Children and other vulnerables will be expected to get involved in creative and nurturing activities. Legal Status: The Community Action For Rural Educational Development (CARED-SL) is legally registered and licenes organization by line ministries of the Sierra Leone government as a community based organization (CBO) and non-proffit organization. The organization is expected to raise funding from the public as well as government and foundation grants.
