Community Bloom Team

Community Bloom Team is an LGBTQ, Indigenous, Women owned real estate team proudly serving and advocating for clients throughout Central Oklahoma. Penny dedicated many years to raising 6 kinship-adopted children. Her passion for helping others extends to helping other children who age out of foster care without resources or who otherwise find themselves homeless. In 2014, Penny founded Sisu Youth Services, a resource center and shelter for youth experiencing homelessness. Melanie Reynolds spent 20 years working in various settings within the nonprofit field. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. She then worked as a mental health counselor and as a director at several agencies in the Oklahoma City Metro area. In 2021, newlyweds Penny & Melanie renovated & sold their first home. In that year-long process, they were able to experience for themselves the extent to which the benefits of home ownership can provide not only to individuals, but to entire communities. The couple then began planning and executing a new professional mission: to help others achieve the goal of secure housing & community wealth-building through home ownership. Melanie and Penny, under brokerage of eXp Realty, are now a fully licensed real estate team in the state of Oklahoma, and to hold themselves accountable, have set themselves up as a public benefit corporation. Community Bloom Team is initially committing 10% of its generated revenue to reinvestment in Central Oklahoma communities. The plan from there is to grow the percentage of that reinvestment, while also growing the CoBloom Team Family with awesome folks exactly like you. Contact us today, and welcome to the family!
