Founded in 1998 by Tom Cullen and Eileen Stensrud, Community Care Options is operated by a team of attentive professionals with more than 30 years of experience in the field. Community Care Options is dedicated to providing quality education and training to administrators, care providers, and nurses of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) and Adult Residential Facilities (ARF). Our classes are approved through the California Department of Social Services, the Nursing Home Administration & the Board of Registered Nursing. Course topics include, but are not limited to- First Aid - OSHA - Infection Control (including COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, TB)- Dementia - Diabetes - Fire and Disaster - Food Service & Safety - Hospice & Palliative Care - LGBTQ+ Awareness & Sensitivity Training - ARF and RCFE Laws and Regulations - Medication Management - Psychosocial Needs and Depression in the Elderly
