Community Compost Association

Established in 2020, the Community Compost Association is an initiative to encourage our community to reduce waste and regenerate our soil. Operating from Founex, we service the Terre Sainte area and Nyon region. We are a carbon-negative operation. Our collection is done entirely by bike. All food waste collected is turned into compost to be used locally. We provide Swiss made collection bins and EU made compostable bin liner. Our bins have a tight fitting lid to keep flies out and odours in. We take our nitrogen rich collection to a local composterie where it is turned, mulched and mixed with the perfect ratio of carbon rich compostables to make all natural black gold compost produced locally with locally grown ingredients. Twice a year we offer our finished compost back to subscribers, Any surplus donated to schools and community gardens to regenerate our soils. We believe healthy soils are the foundation for all life on earth. Composting is one small act with many large benefits, but doing it on your own can be challenging. We get it!
