Community Engagement Consulting

The mission of the Community Engagement Consulting (CEC) is to help students develop greater civic consciousness through collaboration with business leaders and civic leaders, and to help promote positive, lasting impacts on local organizations. CEC Consultants have the ability to serve community needs that can only be addressed using core business skills. By bringing CEC Consulting to local community organizations, students can work to implement changes to the organization’s resources, strategic goals, and daily operations. In order to achieve these goals, CEC Consultants host staff interviews, detail daily observations, and collect larger community data to ultimately promote the impact and longevity of the organizations they engage with. Students involved in Community Engagement Consulting are driven by their passion for business and critical thinking abilities. Through CEC, students are able to connect what they learn inside the classroom to larger community needs.
