Community Foundation Wakefield District

Community Foundation Wakefield District helps local people in need with no judgement or lengthy procedures. We catch those who fall through the gaps and support different groups, minorities, individuals and families, whatever their situation. Through the donation of goods and financial support, we put each year back into the district’s economy. Our retail arm, The Community Give Box redistributes more than it sells to the people we support. In recent years, there has been some investment in the Wakefield District. However, there remains major pockets of deprivation, which we strive to mitigate.
