People are not getting the mental health support they need. There is huge variation in the numbers of people accessing crisis care services and one in five people who came into contact with NHS services in crisis was not assessed at The current wait time for counselling is one to two years. During this time mental health is deteriorating and not everyone can afford to access private counselling. Community Step is a community interest company. We have created a solution in providing counselling based on a 12 week therapy model to those struggling to access the mental health support they need when they need it most. However, we can only do this with the help of you, our community. Please see here for our current projects.
