Community Innovation Lab

Founded by Pramilla Ramdahani in 2011, the Community Innovation Lab is a fast-growing non-profit organization based in Durham Region to address the social and economic gaps in communities through innovation and entrepreneurship. We envision a community where creativity, passion and determination fuel economic prosperity and growth. Our mission is to inspire, catalyze, and advance a community of entrepreneurs. We are an incubator for enterprising ideas and an accelerator for promising ventures. Powered by a sq ft innovation hub in Oshawa, we support a growing number of underrepresented entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses via uniquely customized programs, co-working space, access to finance and partner resources within four signature accelerators. Our specialized accelerators target the following groups of entrepreneurs- Seniors Entrepreneurs (55+) early-stage via the Seniors Project for Creativity and Entrepreneurship (NEW this fall)- Women Entrepreneurs at the growth stage via The Refinery - one of the largest accelerators for women founders in the Region of Durham - Youth Entrepreneurs,(early-stage) via the NEET Youth Incubator - Social Entrepreneurs,(early-stage and start-ups) via the Social Enterprise Accelerator Visit us at
