Community Occupational Therapy

We advocate healthy and independent living within the community for all our clients. We pride ourselves in being up to date with all current therapy and having close relationships with other service providers to best benefit our client’s outcomes. Community Occupational Therapy provides the following services (however not limited to) at the client’s home: • Comprehensive Home Safety Assessments • Minor and Major Home Modifications (Bathrooms, ramps, platform steps, rails etc) • Neurological Rehabilitation • Driver Assessment and Rehabilitation • Vehicle Modifications • Falls Prevention Education • Pain Management • Equipment Prescription • Seating Assessments • Wheelchair and Scooter Prescription and Training • Hand Therapy • Palliative Rehabilitation All therapists are registered with the following agencies: • AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) • Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) including Homefront • Transport Accident Commission (TAC) • WorkSafe • Medicare (including Enhanced Primary Care Programs) • State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP) • NDIS • VicRoads (Driver Assessors only)
