microdot. aka Michael Noel microdot. is a multimedia artist, living and working in the Washington, DC area. He is a Producer, VJ, multimedia artist, musician, sound designer, and VR developer who has produced live, immersive visual art, under the moniker "microdot." ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? microdot. experiences are immersive themed Audio-Visual trips that combine 2D/3D visuals, spatial audio and lights into a cohesive medium utilizing everything from indigenous motifs, algorithmic-assisted visuals, sound design and musical productions. Microdot's work integrates a multitude of integrated visual, music, and performance art, dance, and fashion with immersive technologies, including Cymatics, AV Kinetics, Spatial Audio, Projection Mapping and VR. Microdot works take on multiple media, including motion graphic design, 2D-3D animation, generative design, and audiovisual art. He has a particular interest in real-time interactive visualization art, and human analog/digital interfacing. Coming from a creative and technical production background, Nature, Shamanic Visions, Deep Space, Exoplanets, other worlds, retro sci-fi, and Afro-futurism majorly influence his works.
