Complices

Complices was born from an observation: health restrictions have weakened the world of culture, threatened by the virtualization of consumer behavior, while the French deeply value culture in the context of their activities and their meetings. Complices intends to contribute to redymanizing culture by enhancing its essential function of social bond. For the majority of French people, the value of a cultural activity is not reduced to its ownership of artistic and intellectual experience: it is a social activity, based on sharing, which requires several people to be fully experienced. This social dimension is at the center of Complices: by allowing its users to meet within the framework of cultural activities linked to their common passions, our application simultaneously increases the value of the meeting and that of the shared cultural experience. Complices is presented as an immersion in art, a journey presenting all the facets of each cultural experience, from its presentation to meeting other culture enthusiasts. Based on the interests declared by its users, Complices thus presents hundreds of cultural experiences, which allow the user to display the profiles of people wishing to go to the same experiences as him. Complices is also a universal and interactive map of culture, presenting all of the artistic movements. By selecting their profile, the user's passions are displayed in an interactive tree structure, which allows them to navigate from discovery to discovery. To date, Complices displays the first universal tree structure of culture, touching all cultural fields, from cinema to painting and fashion, an innovative process of discovery that we intend to put at the service of the dissemination of culture. Available initially in Ile-de-France, Complices will, by 2022, be established in all major French cities. Ultimately, our ambition is to make Complices a French leader in the online cultural experiences market.
