Everything we do at Composite Sound is about controlling resonances. We use Thin-ply Carbon technology to engineer Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragm (TPCD) speaker and headphone diaphragms. Where traditional speaker diaphragms try to limit the negative effects of undesired resonances, Composite Sound strives to engineer Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragms (TPCD) to prevent undesired resonances from ever occurring. By optimizing the thickness, stiffness and damping in different parts of the diaphragm, the modal behavior is engineered for controlled resonances.
