Comprehensive Psychiatric Resources (CPR) is an integrative psychiatric practice lead by medical director, James Greenblatt, MD. CPR is a center that takes an integrative approach to mental health and medication selection. Integrative medicine allows staff the opportunity to spend time with each patient in order to analyze their unique genetic, biochemical and nutritional status. The program is comprehensive from an initial consultation to follow up care in nutrition, psychopharmacology, and therapy. Customized plans using FDA-approved metabolic testing as well as Referenced-EEG technology help to individualize recommendations. Dr. Greenblatt brings over twenty years of experience in treating patients with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Obesity as well as post-bariatric surgery patients. Dr. Greenblatt has written extensively on the power of integrative medicine. In his recently published book, Answers to Anorexia, Dr. Greenblatt describes in detail CPR’s approach to treating patients struggling from Anorexia. Based on years of practice as well as scientific evidence, Dr. Greenblatt suggests that “the true cause of the disease is the malnourishment of the brain.” The book outlines the plan used by Dr. Greenblatt and the staff at CPR to provide patients with the greatest opportunity to reach recovery.
