Active in both ongoing business and special situations, including M&A transactions and capital markets events, Comprehensive provides financial and corporate communications, internal communications, and governmental affairs advice to public and private corporations and institutions, boardroom executives, funds, and industry bodies. The Comprehensive team has held leading communication roles with listed and private companies, regulators, and strategic communications agencies It was founded as Bickerton in 2018 by Ian Bickerton, former Financial Times’ correspondent in the Netherlands; Ilse van Klinken, a seasoned public, and governmental affairs specialist and trusted Board advisor; and David Brilleslijper, who has 20+ years’ in-house comms management experience and specializes in financial and internal comms, litigation and change/crises management. As Ian Bickerton moved out of strategic communications as of January 2021 the agency name changed to Comprehensive as of that date. Alice Jentink joined the team as a partner late 2020 adding deep knowledge of financial markets and their stakeholders, in reputation management, crisis communication, merger & acquisitions, and IPOs.
