Computer Science For Arkansas

Arkansas’s Computer Science Initiative began with the passage of Act 187 of 2015, which established the Arkansas Computer Science and Technology in Public School Task Force (CSTF). Since its inception in 2015, the Arkansas Computer Science Initiative has made substantial progress in both K-12 and postsecondary education. The vision for Computer Science in Arkansas is for all students to actively engage in a superior and appropriate computer science education. It is our mission to facilitate Arkansas’s continued position as a national leader in computer science education and technology careers. Arkansas believes that every K-12 student deserves a premier computer science education that is suitable for his or her needs and can support his or her college and/or career aspirations.
