Computer Science Society Unimak

The Computer Science Society is a student leadership Organization that stems through the Computer Science department of the University of Makeni. We are student offering Computer Science at the University Of Makeni (UniMak). We form this Society to promote the welfare of student in the department and also to promote and educate people about the important and use of technology. Especially in Africa were we are located people lack the know how and the important of technology. Because of that we normally organize workshops, radio discussions, outreach programs, public lectures, donation to schools, free tutoring on Microsoft packages and many software application to people in Makeni City were our university is located and through out the country. We have worked with different organisations that see need to improve technology in Africa and we are looking forward to work with any organisation or institution that want to improve technology in Africa.
