Confidently You

CONFIDENTLY YOU is a weekly mastermind class for children, held over zoom video. Each 60-minute class includes- A wisdom spark where children receive a lesson that they can apply right away in their day-to-day life - A spotlight hero where one child is selected each week to share a current challenge. The whole group works as a team to understand, support, and arrive at a helpful solution- An action task that the child chooses based on insights experienced in class, which will be reviewed in the following week's class. In the CONFIDENTLY YOU PROGRAM your child will- Discover their unique talents to best explore options for their future career - Learn how to ask questions with confidence so they can excel academically - Practice empathy and connection with other students so they become true leaders - Overcome shyness and build lasting friendships with other future leaders - Master public speaking skills so that they are ahead of the game when they get to college - Solve everyday problems from a person-centered rather than a problem-centered framework - Speak on the TED Student Talk platform so that they stand out from their peers
