What Connecti Does: Connecti is a software application that enables physical classrooms to teach onsite and remote students at a fraction of the cost of traditional audio-visual technology tools. Why it Works: AV and IT Managers at Universities are at a crossroads with their AV technology fleet. They are simultaneously being asked to make their budgets stretch further whilst at the same time enable more of their classrooms to connect with digital tools like remote learning & lecture capture. Traditional AV technology is generally too expensive to be used in every space and existing tools that combine AV systems with remote learning tools like Zoom deliver a poor user experience. Connecti evolves the traditional AV model by using software deployed on a standard PC to carry out AV functions like video and audio switching whilst seamlessly connecting physical teaching tools to software teaching tools like Zoom and MS Teams. The software enables costs to remain low whilst delivering high quality learning experiences for students. Who we work with: We typically work with higher education institutions who- Have teaching spaces that need to support in-room learning, remote learning and lecture capture at the same time- Need to support a growing requirement for AV and UC enabled spaces with a limited budget- Need to support a large audio- visual fleet with a small team and require better tools to support large/remote campuses. What Connecti does- Removes the need for a hardware AV switcher in the teaching space - Manages source switching and video layouts to digital applications (i.e. Zoom, lecture capture)- Allows universities to quickly deploy, monitor and support Connecti enabled spaces using standard IT tools
