We’ve spent our careers making other people shine. As marketers and communicators, we’ve been the storytellers behind the scenes—crafting the message, calming the chaos, promoting the product, the company, the execs. Not ourselves. We’ve been VPs, CMOs, consultants, founders. We’ve been laid off, phased out, burned out, and overlooked. But we’re not giving up. And we’re not doing it alone. That’s why we built Connexting— a confidential, volunteer-led peer group for expert marketing and communications professionals navigating what’s next. No titles. No egos. Just a safe space to share, reset, and be seen. We started as a simple Zoom call. Now we’re a thriving community of 250+ seasoned pros who show up with grace, grit, and generosity. Every other Friday, we gather virtually to swap stories and leads, hear from guest speakers, and share hard-won wisdom from the trenches. In between, we stay connected in our private Slack—celebrating wins, passing referrals, and collaborating through Success Groups and Personal Brand teams. Some are job-seeking. Some are consulting.
