Conquer Chiari

Chiari malformation is a serious neurological disorder that affects over children and adults in the US. Chiari can cause debilitating pain, balance issues, cognitive issues, muscle weakness, and a variety of other problems. There is currently no cure. Conquer Chiari is a public charity focused on improving the experiences and outcome of Chiari and syringomyelia patients through education, awareness, and research. The Conquer Chiari website is the largest collection of patient focused Chiari information available to day. The Conquer Chiari Research Center at the University of Akron is the world's first hospital independent, multi-disciplinary research facility focused on Chiari.
