Conservation Leaders Network

The Conservation Leaders Network (CLN) is a remarkable youth-led organization in Africa promoting sustainable development transition. Through our dedicated efforts, we nurture a new generation of young leaders who passionately champion sustainable changes and amplify youth voices across various domains and their marginalized communities. Our work encompasses many initiatives, including engaging in energy education and sustainability projects and facilitating youth-led dialogues and decision-making campaigns, mostly in marginalized and local communities. By empowering young people to take charge and lead, the CLN drives significant positive impacts on the environment and society, leaving no one behind. Two notable startups, the EcoCook Project and EcoHomes, stand out as shining examples of our commitment to clean energy systems. The EcoCook Project focuses on implementing home-based biogas systems, utilizing fecal waste to produce clean cooking energy. Similarly, EcoHomes offers Ethanol Gel, providing marginalized communities access to clean, eco-friendly cooking solutions. These endeavors address critical energy needs while simultaneously promoting environmental preservation. Our dedication to climate literacy and transition is evident in our Climate and Energy Literacy campaigns, which aim to educate and inspire individuals to embrace greener practices. We are paving the way for a more sustainable future by spreading awareness and knowledge. The Conservation Leaders Network's holistic approach and focus on youth empowerment make us a formidable force in sustainable development.
