We currently work with over customers from the education, early years and care sectors providing them with all the supplies and services they need to operate on a daily basis. We also have many customers from local government, the emergency services, churches, voluntary groups and charities. We do our utmost to be a Customer Service led, vibrant and innovative business and are continually voted No.1 for service by our customers. As an organisation, we are committed to working ethically with our customers, suppliers and employees. We play an active role in the United Nations Global Compact Initiative and our efforts to minimise our impact on the environment are core to our business from product sourcing to internal business practices. In April 2012 The Consortium acquired West Mercia Supplies (WMS) from its 4 Local Authority owners (Shropshire, Hereford, Worcestershire, Telford & Wrekin) and was in turn acquired by Smith News Plc.
