Constitution Education Fund

The Constitution Education Fund is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to increase public understanding and appreciation of the constitutional framework of Australia, with a special emphasis on being at the forefront of the development of constitutional education programs and resources for Australian schools and students. The emphasis is on giving Australians factual knowledge so that better informed decisions can be made about matters affecting the governance of our country. In large measure this is because more and more Australians exhibit declining knowledge and attitudes – indeed a cynicism – towards the Australian system of governance and its processes, such that an alarming few actually understand how our Constitution works, how we have come to enjoy the freedoms we have, and what our rights and responsibilities are as citizens of our Australian parliamentary democracy.
