We serve as a bridge between the private, public, philanthropic, nonprofit and community sectors to cultivate connections between people and the places they call home. Contacto Consulting, LLC specializes in four areas: • Operationalizing equity and belonging. We translate "DEI" trainings into systems and structures that advance equity. • Strategic projects and program development, from planning and design to evaluation • Community assessment and engagement. We help you understand and connect with your community - at the organizational, city, county or state level. • Design and produce community campaigns for priority populations including Black, Indigenous and People of Color, immigrants, refugees, individuals with limited literacy skills, and people for whom English is not their first language. Ours is community-centered consulting— “Nothing about me without me” is a guiding principle. Contacto is committed to centering and elevating voices of people whose brilliance has been marginalized because of their race, ethnicity, language, accent, immigration status, disability, economic status, sexual orientation or gender identity. Contacto offers an approach that is based on learning and relationships. Over the many years working in community, Victoria Garcia Tamayo, owner and community consultant, has cultivated relationships with dozens of community leaders, public officers, funding partners, and diverse individuals and groups.
