Contassur Pension Experts

We manage supplementary pension schemes and provide all related services, from advice on setting up or modifying them to their operational management and financing. We have more than 50 years of experience serving companies in the Belgian gas and electricity sector as well as companies that are (or were) part of the ENGIE group. We use two types of tools for the management of pension schemes, namely the insurance company Contassur SA and five pension funds, four of which are multi-employer funds (Caisse de Pension Tractebel, Elgabel, Pensiobel and Powerbel) and one sector fund (Enerbel). The management of these five pension funds is entrusted to Contassur Assistance-Conseil (CAC) SA, a subsidiary of Contassur SA. Thanks to our extensive expertise, we can offer solutions adapted to both large and small companies, in a multi-employer and/or sectoral context, with the aim of enabling all stakeholders to benefit from synergies and economies of scale. We work in a mutualist approach, therefore without commercial objectives and aiming to offer our services at the most optimal cost possible. In addition, the pension funds are managed on a parity basis, with all decisions being taken jointly by employers and employee representatives. Finally, we attach great importance to our societal role in a context where supplementary pensions (also known as the second pillar) are becoming an increasingly important component of a financially comfortable pension.
