Contemporary Insights

Contemporary Insights is ahe Contemporary Insights initiative began in 2014 as a concert series for contemporary music in NYC. Our goal is to bring new audiences, composers, and performers together to celebrate and explore the world of contemporary classical music. Even with so much repertoire available in the 21st century, audiences still crave new experiences through high quality, engaging performances. At the same time, there are many excellent musicians and new works that still do not receive the recognition they deserve. Contemporary Insights is now based in Leipzig, Germany and has expanded into the Contemporary Insights Ensemble. The diversity of our members enables us to present a variety of projects with unique perspectives. As a large ensemble, we work with a range of instrumentations and sizes so that we can better connect established contemporary/classical music communities. The Contemporary Insights concert series focuses on featuring composers/performers of exceptional musicality and aims to contextualize some of the most intricate and demanding contemporary music being written today.
