Continental Accessories Corp. is a family business— originated three generations ago on the streets of New York. On the heels of the depression, two immigrant brothers, savvy and street smart, began a small pushcart business— manufacturing and selling household accessories, costume jewelry, and holiday novelties to a customer base that was readily accessible, and eager for bargains. After the war, their vision expanded— venturing abroad, and cultivating import sources that helped expand their product line, and bolster their bottom line. The business flourished, as did the size of the family, and by the 1990’s a third generation of entrepreneurs was fulfilling their own American Dream. Today, after more than 70 years in business, Continental Accessory Corp. continues to help retailers attract and sustain a lucrative customer base— primarily within the student, and young-professional, demographics— with our multi-purpose, coordinated lines of everyday, fashion-forward accessories. Continental’s reputation as a savvy innovator remains intact— by continually honing our unique market insight, evolving our distinct talent for trendsetting design, and building a diverse manufacturing pipeline of profit-generating products for our customers. Always in step with our retail partners, and fully responsive to market needs, Continental is a dominating force in the realm of educational, cosmetics and office accessories within the student, and young-professional space.
