Continuing The Mission

Continuing the Mission (CTM) provides fully trained assistance dogs at no cost to Veterans in North Carolina. Our training program is both unique and purposeful. The dogs that successfully complete the CTM training program, and graduate, are of extremely high caliber and clear temperament. Our dogs begin their journey following introduction to one of our local host families. The Puppy Raiser portion of our training program is critical to convey core skills and socialization opportunities, so we can make a smooth transition when the dog is paired with one of our selected Veterans. The partnership between CTM and our Veterans does not stop after pairing. As partners with a purpose, we are partners for life. CTM will continue to be there for ongoing training and as a support resource whenever needed, to ensure the ongoing success for our Veterans and their dogs.
