CMS was established from a need we identified in the industry for trained, highly skilled and experienced mechancial engineering staff. We have at our disposal a motivated and mobile core of top class tradesman who are capable of working to the best international standards in mechanical installation, relocation, fabrication and commissioning work. These skills have been proven in the heavy engineering, petro chemical, pulp & paper, dairy, meat, marine, geothermal and hydro industries known to demand performance, quality and safety. CMS operates to the highest safety standards and our work culture has safety at the forefront of everyone's thinking and to this end we have won several safety awards - Orica Engineering, Hawkins Construction, Mighty River Power. We design, fabricate, install and commission shop built storage tanks from 500 litres to plus litres and have delivered them throughout NZ and the Pacific. We are HSNO certified to design and fabricate stationary container systems to API 650 & AS 1692. As well as stainless and carbon steel, CMS are experienced in the fabrication & welding of exotic materials for vessel and piping manufacture – hastalloy, incalloy, 2205 duplex, 2407 duplex, 253MA, 2507 super duplex. We can supply and end to end solution or any part of the process - design, estimation/budgeting, project planning, quote, manufacture & assembly, installation, commission and QA. Carbon, Stainless Steel and Duplex Pipe Spooling is one of our strengths. We have successfully installed thousands of metres of pipework and also large quantities of Sch80 uPVC piping systems.
