The company was originally formed to invent a new ‘Polymer Filter’ cleaning process to replace a hot solvent melt system. This system, now patented (1628736) uses “controls for steam” to produce improved cleaning, greater energy efficiency and environmentally friendly cleaning for filters in the polymer industry. They are now sold worldwide exclusively by B&M Longworth (Edgworth) Ltd. With over 35 years experience in the Steam Industry, Controls 4 Steam now partner with all, Engineers, Consultants and Industrial Steam users in solving technical and commercial challenges. Our core activities include design, technical support and procurement services to ‘Principal Contractors’ on major boiler house refurbishment projects. ‘Working in Partnership’ with our clients providing independent support services predominately to the industrial steam user. With over 35 years knowledge and experience in steam generation, distribution and control, we are able to provide bespoke control solutions to improve production, increase efficiency or resolve ongoing problems.
