Conversations With Dr. David Muturi

Conversations with Dr. Muturi is a platform that seeks to engage with you in meaningful conversations on Leadership Management; Culture and Change Management; and Strategy. With over 20 years experience, Dr. Muturi has exceptional experience and built a successful track record in leadership, management and strategy. He is the Lead Consultant Breakthrough Consulting Limited; former CEO Kenya Institute of Management (KIM); former Dean KCA University; Management Columnist the Daily Nation Newspaper; Certified Public Accountant; Certified Business Assessor European Foundation for Quality Management; and Scholar Practitioner. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Central Nicaragua; a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Kenyatta University; and a Bachelor of Education (Business Studies and Economics) from the University of Nairobi. He has cultivated the ability to make positive contributions while delivering on a wide range of demands for top tier corporate organizations, donor and government funded projects. He is a Guest Editor for the TQM journal East African Edition and the Management Magazine and has published and co-authored several publications including; The impact of ISO 9001 implementation on organizational performance in Kenya; Quality Improvement: The East Africa Experience; Economy: The East Africa Story; Organizational Climate and readiness for change to Lean Six Sigma, among others. He is professionally affiliated to, and a member of, the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kenya (ICPAK). He cofounded and is convenor of the Africa Governance, Leadership and Management Convention held annually to discuss African issues. Dr. Muturi has served as a board member of the Kenya Development Learning Centre (KDLC); a Council Member and Managing Trustee of the Management University of Africa.
