Convert Technologies are a world leading RF location reporting and data services company, who design and develop solutions for a range of industries, especially for Military & Aerospace, Rail, Industrial Processing and Healthcare Sectors. Convert’s business model is to license patent protected solutions to third-party brands with well-established routes to national and international markets. Companies who are product and service driven often struggle to develop new technologies. Sometimes their scale, pre-conceptions and strict processes, make innovation and world class development difficult, leading to a risk-averse incremental development strategy. This is where Convert come in – working to create and innovate for their license partners and indeed for future generations. Founded in 2013, as Entotem limited, the trading name of Convert Technologies was introduced in September 2016. On creation, Convert’s initial technology focus was in Home Entertainment which led to the generation of a successful Internet of Things (IoT) media platform. It was clear the platform could be applied generically in other more valuable markets, and with the addition of Location and Data Services, Convert pivoted their focus to Military & Aerospace (Mil-Aero), Rail, Industrial Processing and Healthcare logistics markets.
