At Coolaroo Foundation we believe in the deep connections between people and places. For us, thriving regional and rural communities are those where our unique environment and history, particularly our Indigenous history, is valued and respected; where everyone is valued for their unique qualities and contribution; where safety is prioritized for everyone, particularly for the most vulnerable; and everyone has the opportunity to experience joy, safety, physical and emotional health, and creativity. We seek to support organisations that are looking to empower people and improve local environments, to help communities to truly thrive in our world. Through our work and our grants, we are looking to - alleviate disadvantage and enable potential, particularly for children from disadvantaged communities and women who may be at risk of experiencing violence- restore our country and its unique biodiversity and enable sustainable agriculture in ways that will continue to nourish people and planet endlessly into the future.
