We are a well established labour only sub-contract carpentry company currently operating within the Midlands area & have been involved in a variety of new housing, public & commercial contracts over a number of years. Our philosophy for success has always been & will continue to be ‘hands on, quality & control’. This approach has become the cornerstone of how we as a company manage contracts won & awarded to us. This philosophy, together with a fair-minded approach towards our work force, is a true reflection of company policy throughout the management structure, from our policy of tendering to our proactive contracts management. We offer a full supervisory support package. It is the policy of Coopers to conduct its activities with regard for Health and Safety of all its employees and members of the public. It is their intent to comply with both the requirements and the spirit of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all regulations and Codes of Practice made under this act. The employment of external safety group “R.G.Wilbury” is key to this as it is their role to assess and maintain Coopers policy on Health and Safety and the practices put into place on site. Coopers Management regularly visit site to check on operatives application of this Health and Safety Policy and to deliver regular Tool Box Talks. Coopers Management accepts its responsibility to take all necessary steps to ensure that all systems of work are as safe as is reasonably practicable and all equipment is maintained in safe condition and operated correctly. Coopers ensure that any substances are used and handled in a safe manner. Coopers aim to provide relevant training to all operatives and to ensure that all employees are competent to fulfil their duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act, as well as making sure instruction and supervision are made available for all personnel.
