CopBlue was created by street cops for street cops. It's simple, CopBlue is going to get the message that really matters out to our fellow cops. Our goal is for every one of us to go home at the end of our tour. And we don’t just mean going home, but going home to a healthy, happy life with our family & friends. We know the Job, and we know the life because we've been, and are, out on the streets with you. We understand the stress of the Job, and just as important, what that stress could do to you and your family. Cops want to go to work and do their best to serve their communities. At the same time none of us has the desire to end up on the national news or the topic of a viral social media post. No one can think this doesn’t play a part in how we do our jobs. Police work continues to evolve, which we all expect, it's a fact we can't do anything about. What CopBlue can do is help make these changes a little less stressful. CopBlue is written in the language of street cops, our authors are encouraged to be frank and speak openly. We want our message to come from people who've been on the job rather than someone trying to deliver a politically-correct message who's never been in a radio car. We thrive on sharing different points of view, unfortunately, in this type of work there's times it could be offensive; that’s something else we can't do anything about. There’s also critical information we need to know to keep ourselves physically & mentally fit. CopBlue will find experts in these fields so we can all learn what’s best & how to help each other. All of us at CopBlue have lost friends & colleagues that were living in pain & fighting on the inside. CopBlue will keep repeating, we must watch out for each other, talk honestly to each other; forget the stigma, ask for help.
