Copenhagen Bioscience Phd Programme
The Copenhagen Bioscience PhD Programme recruits 16 motivated students from around the world annually. It is a fully-funded four year PhD programme in an international scientific environment at the four Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centers in Copenhagen: NNF Center for Protein Research, NNF Center for Basic Metabolic Research, NNF Center for Stem Cell Biology and NNF Center for Biosustainability. The annual funding call opens in November and closes in January for students to start in September. Students are recruited to the programme, and then complete three short rotation projects before choosing a lab for their PhD. They then work on their chosen research project for the rest of the four years. Students also follow a common curriculum covering a range of topics in biomedicine and biotechnology in the first (pre-doc) year.
