Cora B. Gallery is a collection of charming custom portraits and southern inspired floral artworks. Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of vintage aesthetics and my love of history, my art reflects a blend of my classic style with a contemporary flair. Art has always been a part of my life, thanks to my mother's study of art history and my grandmother's work as a florist in New Orleans. Their creative spirits have shaped my style and the work I create. Their creative spirits have shaped my style and the work I create. During my time as a student at Louisiana State University, I was trying to find a way to fit my love of art into my future. While studying History, Classics, and Business in hopes of working as a museum curator, I began interning for a local art gallery & taking requests to paint Christmas gifts for friends. The more I painted, the more I knew I needed to find a way to be able to make a career out of my work. By the time graduation came, I was ready to make my side hustle a full time job. And just like that, Cora B. Gallery was born. Two years, three collections, six galleries, and about a million stickers later, I have made cemented my passion into a real business. I love the challenge of running my own business, the excitement of a new project, and the meditative quality of my quiet studio when I get to give my art my complete attention. It still feels like a fantasy that my kindergarten dream job could really be my career. I am incredibly thankful for all of the support that lets me be able to live my dream every single day.
