Cordon Security Services - Hiring On Call Security Guards Cordon Security Services is a security company that protects and guards client’s assets, such as private and public properties and client guests/visitors. We are looking for security guards with experience in the industry with a strong public safety and security awareness. Work responsibilities: As a security guard of Cordon Security Services, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of the client’s facility, tenants and visitors to the assigned area in a professional and courteous manner. Successfully conduct regular security patrols of site, both interior and exterior without direct supervision Identify and report any unusual activity or persons in and around the Facility to the appropriate personnel (this includes fire, theft, vandalism, trespassers and accidents Respond to calls for service as required Interact professionally with all clients Maintaining productive work and a positive attitude Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations. Identify and report facility damage, write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records using effective communication skills. Basic knowledge of security procedures, handling violent behaviors, and non-defensive communication. Qualifications: A valid security license Completed Basic Security Training (BST) or equivalent certification; A background in customer service or event security experience Ability to work a flexible schedule Excellent communication skills, additional language abilities and keen attention to details Physically fit to deal with conflict resolutions A professional demeanor including a well-groomed image What to expect: Part time (On call basis)$14-16.00/ hour pay Free uniform Opportunity for advancement in the security industry
