CORDUS is supplying Aramid, Rayon, Glass, PA, PET and other single end cords for adhesion to different kinds of Rubber, PU and Silicone materials. CORDUS soft or stiff dipped single end cords feature linear densities in a range between 1.200 and dtex and breaking strength values up to and above N. CORDUS was founded in 2008. Since 2011 CORDUS has belonged to the Cordenka group, demonstrating its performance in a conceivably challenging environment since then: the reinforcement of high and ultra high performance automotive tires. More than 75 years of Cordenka experience in this field met Thuringian stiff cord production know-how for the reinforcement of precision v-belts. This DNA constitutes CORDUS today. Investments of more than EUR since 2011, regularly ahead of budget sales volumes since then and the successful IATF 16949 management system approval in January 2018 are milestones in the company’s history.
