Core Hub Neuro Engineering

The Hub for Neuroengineering Solutions is an innovation-driven engineering group based at the University of Lethbridge. We collaborate with researchers and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) to develop real-world solutions at the intersection of engineering, neuroscience, and agriculture. We leverage the talent of students at all levels—from undergraduate to graduate—to tackle complex challenges using multidisciplinary engineering approaches. Our core expertise includes circuit design, microcontroller-based sensor systems, and integrated hardware/software development. While our roots are in neuroengineering, our work has grown to serve a wide range of applied fields, with a strong foundation in agricultural innovation reflective of the region's strengths in Southern Alberta. Whether building automated systems for neuroscience research or smart technologies for agriculture, we aim to transform ideas into deployable, impactful solutions.
