Hello! I am happy you found me. My name is Jennifer Duggins. I am a Licensed Physical Therapist and Owner of COREssentials Physical Therapy and Pelvic Wellness, PLLC. I am a native Texan, born in San Antonio, grew up in North Texas, but hurried back to San Antonio in June 2014. I graduated from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio in May 1994. I received my Physical Therapy license from the state of Texas in Sept. 1994 and have been practicing in a variety of settings over those 23 years. I have extensive experience in young adult, adult and geriatric rehab and physical therapy for orthopedic, neurological, general medical, trauma, complex medical, and post-surgical conditions. In 2002, I began studying and receiving training in the management of female urinary incontinence. Over the next 15 years, I became passionate about furthering my clinical training and practice to include the management of fecal incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum rehab and pelvic pain conditions for both female and male patients in addition to continuing my practice in "traditional" physical therapy. While I am a bit of a perfectionist by personality, I am a realist in that I understand I cannot make every "body" 100% better. Physical Therapy is most successful with a patient/client/therapist team approach. I am a big believer in empowering the client with knowledge to manage their condition and prevent recurrence. That level of education in conjunction with treatment requires one on one time with the same clinician visit to visit. COREssentials Physical Therapy and Pelvic Wellness, PLLC allows me to offer that level of care and service to my clients.
