In the right place but at the wrong time, Cormac Thompson, aged 11, was the youngest singer signed to global record label, Decca / UMG. With the music industry hit badly & no live performance opportunities, the signing was short lived! But the singing & the fledgling music career had only just begun. Determined not to just think ‘well wasn’t that nice’, go home & put their feet up! his parents decided to diversify their knowledge & learn as much as they could about the music industry, recording & releasing music & building an on-line profile for a young singer but as an independent artist instead. A very steep learning curve and gaining experience as they went about recording music, releasing music, building & developing an online fan base & social media following, they’ve applied this knowledge to releasing a physical CD as well.
