Cornerstone was started because we get it. Co-founders and spouses, Chris and Leah East, set up Cornerstone to address the real pressures of safeguarding leadership. Chris spent years as a DSL, carrying the same emotional load, pressure, and decision fatigue that so many safeguarding leads face. Leah supported him through this experience, and together their lived experience shapes everything Cornerstone does, keeping support grounded in the real world, not theory. We exist to make safeguarding feel human again and help you reignite the passion that might feel like it’s slipping away. Our goal is simple: build your confidence, clarity, and capacity so you can lead well without burning out.
