Kyle Parks has been in security and law enforcement for the past 30 years. He received his Security Officer’s Commission in 1979. During his tenure with the US Air Force’s Security Police he learned the value of training. “How you train, is how you will react during the real thing.” In 1992, Kyle left the Air Force and rejoined the Security Industry in Texas. He used his training and experience to move his way up in the industry. He spent the next eight years perfecting and advancing his knowledge of the private security industry and developing new techniques and skills for a changing world. He quickly realized that the training that was available to Security Officers was poor if it was available at all. He dedicated himself to providing Security Officers with the highest quality training at an affordable price. He has gathered a staff of instructors that are the best in the area; each has unique talents, skills and experiences that help to make Cornerstone Security Training Center the top Security training center in the Metroplex. Many of the classes at Cornerstone Security Training Center are the same classes taught to Police Officers. Kyle has received over 120 hours of formal instructor training and has taught over hours of classroom and firearms training. He is licensed by the Texas Private Security Bureau as a Combined Classroom/Firearms Instructor and a Personal Protection Officer Instructor. He also holds instructor certifications: OC Spray Instructor, M26 Advanced Taser/X26 Taser Instructor, Law Enforcement Basic Instructor and Police Firearms Instructor. He has also attended advanced instructors training. An author and consultant, Kyle Parks has provided security consulting and training to corporations, corporate security staffs, public and private schools, churches and ministries.
